Translate technical documentation right in your browser.

Four tools for working with manuals and translation memories. Your document is never uploaded — it opens and runs on your own machine. 30 days free, then €4 a month, with your own API key.

The tools are being built to replace CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ and Phrase: TMX translation memory, alignment of legacy translations, memory editing and merging, and machine translation with a glossary — no installation, right in your browser.

Sample: segments from an industrial machine manual. Dotted terms follow the project glossary, not the model's mood.

How it works

No server in the middle

  • Your files stay with you

The tools are plain HTML pages that run entirely in your browser. Documents and memories are never uploaded. Only the individual sentences leave, and they go straight to the API — we never see them.

  • Translations are billed by the API directly

You bring your own API key and usage is billed by its provider directly. The €4/month subscription covers the tools only — no credits, no markup. The key stays stored in your browser.

  • Terminology under control

Translation memory and glossary are passed to the model as binding context. In technical manuals it's term consistency that matters, not smooth prose.

  • 30 days free

Sign up with your email and use every tool for a month, no card needed. Then €4 a month, cancel any time.

Glossary format

One table, any number of languages

The glossary is a plain Excel or CSV table. The first row holds the column names in English, every other row is one term. Only the terms that actually occur in the current batch get sent to the model.

  • cs The source term — the column of the language you translate from. This is what gets matched in the text.
  • de, en, pl … Target languages, as many as you need. The column heading is the language code or its English name (German, English).
  • de_forbidden Variants the model must not use in that language, several separated by a pipe. This is where the automotive Schaltgetriebe goes for an industrial gearbox. A plain forbidden column applies to every language.
  • note Optional context — why the term is what it is. Read by both the human and the model.

Upload the Excel file as .xlsx directly, or save it as CSV in UTF-8 — semicolon, tab or comma all work as a separator. The …_forbidden and note columns are optional.

In-house deployment

Need it wired into your own data?

These tools came out of translating agricultural machinery manuals into ten languages — not out of a technology demo. If you need them wired into your own translation memory, your own glossary, or a different source format such as DocBook XML from an editorial system, get in touch.

Send an email

Before you start

  • Browser Chrome or Edge. Loading a whole memory folder uses the File System Access API, which Firefox and Safari don't support yet.
  • API key Your own Anthropic API key. Enter it once; it stays in your browser. How to get one is described just below.
  • Data TMX files and a glossary (.xlsx or CSV), optionally. The tools work without them, just without memory matches.
  • Price Tools €4 a month, the first 30 days free. API calls are paid to your provider.

API key

Translation runs on the Claude API. You get your own key in a few minutes.

The tools do not translate on their own — sentences they cannot find in the memory go to Anthropic's Claude model. For that you need your own key. You pay Anthropic directly for the text you process; we are not in the middle and never see your key.

  1. Account and credit Sign up at platform.claude.com and top up credit. No subscription — you pay up front and draw on it as you go.
  2. Create the key Create a new API key in the console. It starts with sk-ant- and is shown only once, so copy it right away.
  3. Paste it into the tool Paste the key into the field at the top of the translator. It stays in your browser's storage and is only ever sent to Anthropic's server.
  4. What it costs You are billed by the volume of text that goes through the model. The memory and the glossary cut that down — only what is missing from the memory reaches the API. Prices and your spend are in the console, where you can also set a monthly limit.

The key is the password to your account — never share it in screenshots or HTML files. If it does leak, revoke it in the console and create a new one. On a shared computer, do not let the browser store it.
